“I deeply believe that a beautiful decor can have a beneficial influence on our lives”

– Albert Hadley

The Century is a residential tower in Los Angeles designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects. Red and black are threaded throughout this apartment to give a unifying, cohesive effect. The main objective was to transform otherwise banal “white box” rooms into a sexy, masculine, and personality-filled environment for my client. The new wood-paneled wall in the living room is inspired by the fireplace elevation of the de Menil home in Huston, designed by Philip Johnson with interiors by couturier Charles James.
